Near Miss ProjectSelect Your NMP Site:Testing

The Near Miss Project is a collaborative effort among Family Practice Residencies and primary care practices to gather data on situations in the practice when a negative or problem outcome COULD have occurred but did not. By being alerted to such situations it is believed that the practices can make systems based quality improvements that will reduce the future actual occurance of negative or problem outcomes. The Near Miss Project provides the individual practice with the ability to routinely seek this valuable information from its providers and staff, summarize the data for the practice and also to see collective Project-wide summaries of Near Miss situations.
